North Saint Paul and Maplewood were dispatched to a dwelling fire on the 2200 block of 17th Avenue East in North Saint Paul Saturday evening.
Maplewood Engine 333 arrived and reported they had an attached garage fully involved on a 1 story dwelling and were pulling a preconnect. North Saint Paul Engine 520 arrived a laid a water supply to Maplewood and also pulled a backup line off their engine.
The crews quickly knocked down the garage fire. Crews also pulled ceiling in the home to check for extension. Crews ventilated the home and performed extensive overhaul of the garage.
